Contact me with your word count and I’ll get back to you within one business day with a potential deadline. Typical turnaround time for a newsletter (e or print) that’s 5,000 words or less, for example, is usually two business days, while fiction and nonfiction manuscripts are typically completed two to three weeks after agreed-upon start date, depending on word count.

I work on everything from blog posts, articles, websites, newsletters, educational materials to scripts, short stories, and fiction and nonfiction manuscripts.

Genres accepted include but are not limited to: popular, speculative, spiritual, fantasy, science fiction, romance, romantic suspense, chick lit, mystery and crime. I do draw the line at works of horror or those including extensive graphic violence.

While I work and have worked in innumerable projects and industries, I have been blessed to work in a 20-year side hustle as a wellness counselor/energy worker/spiritual advisor, where I’ve been immersed in the alternative health culture, working with everyone from naturopaths, chiropractors and acupuncturists to mediums, astrologists, and ancestral and clear belief guides. 

I bring a proficiency, knowledge and intuitive understanding to these editorial projects. I would love the opportunity to bring this understanding to your health, wellness or metaphysical project.

File Formats

• I accept Word documents, and I will use the Track Changes and Comments to collaborate with you. If you’re not sure how to use Track Changes and Comments in Word, click here.
• I accept Google Docs, and we will use the Suggest Edits mode, as long as you (the author) agree not to make changes to the manuscript until edits are complete.
• For shorter projects, like articles or blogs, in addition to Word and Google Doc files, there is the option of iAnnotate and PDFs.
• If you have a manuscript that has already been published, we can work with the Kindle version and send a list of suggested changes in Word.
• Short PDF documents (10-page limit) can be sent via Dropbox and marked up.
• Last but not least, if you prefer good old fashion paper and red pen, I do possess the old-school knowledge of proofreading marks. We need only to discuss project delivery.

Your work is never shared and is not stored via cloud or file storage service. The documents you send to us are stored on our antivirus-protected computers and multiple USB drives to ensure that even a computer crash won’t stop our work.

For shorter works, like articles or blogs, I default to Associate Press (AP) style; however, Chicago Manual of Style or in-house style (if you are a part of an organization) if preferred or provided.

For manuscripts, I use Chicago Manual of Style unless otherwise requested. As a member of the CMOS website, I am kept abreast of updates as they happen.

I use multiple dictionaries, including Merriam-Webster, Oxford English Dictionary and Collins.

At this time, only PayPal and Zelle payments are accepted. I require half of your payment before I begin work and half the day before your manuscript is sent back. Of course, you have the option of paying in full up front.

• A guest post by you on Text eMender’s website
• If available for purchase, a potential shot of your cover art on Text eMender’s website linked to where readers can buy it.
